What is Find the Bad Friend?
It is a free, browser-based simulation of screening incoming friend / follow / connection requests. Fictional requests pop up one at a time; you accept the genuine people and reject the fakes, and when you reject you choose the reason. It runs over five stages of five requests each, getting subtler as you go, and ends with a score and a shareable certificate.
Can I practise on a specific app?
Yes. Before you start you pick the platform — Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok or LinkedIn — and the request cards and wording adapt to that app so it feels like the real thing. Every profile is fictional and generated for training.
What kinds of fakes does it teach?
Money and crypto scams, romance / love-bombing scams, impersonation and cloned profiles (including the "my old account was hacked" trick), celebrity crypto-giveaway impersonation, bot and mass-follow accounts, and fake recruiters with too-good-to-be-true offers. It also rewards not over-rejecting genuine, quiet accounts.
Is any of my information used?
No. Everything runs in your browser — there are no real people, no accounts, and nothing you do is sent to a server. It is a training simulation only.
What should I never do with a real suspicious request?
Never send money, gift cards, or cryptocurrency; never click links they send; and never move to WhatsApp or Telegram just because they ask. Reverse-image-search their photo, check the account age and mutual connections, and when in doubt do not accept — report and block instead.
