Your text is encrypted in your browser (AES-256-GCM) before it ever leaves it. The decryption key lives only in the link you get back, after the # — that part never reaches PlayCISO’s servers, so the paste stored here is unreadable to us, to anyone with database access, and to anyone who doesn’t have the full link.
• Nothing you type is sent anywhere until you click “Encrypt & create link.”
• “Burn after reading” deletes the paste the instant someone opens the link and clicks Reveal — not before, so a chat app’s link-preview bot can’t destroy it first.
• 300KB limit per paste. Lose the link and the content is gone for good — there is no recovery, by design.

Is this tool free?

How is this different from Pastebin?
Encryption happens in your browser before anything is sent — PlayCISO’s servers only ever store ciphertext. The decryption key lives in the link itself, after the #, which browsers never transmit to a server. There is no way for PlayCISO, or anyone with database access, to read a paste without that link.
What happens if I lose the link?
The content is gone for good. There is no password reset or admin override, because there is nothing on the server that can be decrypted without the key in your link.
What does "burn after reading" actually protect against?
The paste is deleted the moment someone clicks Reveal on the read page — not just when the link is opened. That split matters: chat apps and email clients often auto-fetch links to generate a preview, which would silently destroy a naive burn-after-read paste before the real recipient ever saw it.
What if I need it to never expire?
Choose "Never" from the expiry dropdown. It stays until you (or whoever has the link) reads it, if burn-after-read is on, or indefinitely otherwise.
